Meet The Team

South African born coach, Angelo Thomas, founded Bok Rugby Lab in the USA in February 2024.  His background is Entrepreneurship, Training and Education.  Angelo played elite level rugby at Junior level in Cape Town, for False Bay and WP Currie Cup U20 Squad. 

He went on to represent South Africa at the Touch Rugby WC in Japan 2003 and was part of the SA Touch squad between 2001 and 2007.

South African born coach, Kevin Musikanth is currently the Director of Rugby at Tel Aviv Heat and Technical Director for the Israeli National team.  With a background of over 25 years coaching 15's and 7's, Kevin boasts an impressive coaching resume with Top clubs and Unions such as Western Province Rugby, UCT Ikeys, St. Johns College, SA Maccabi, Wynberg Boys and the Golden Lions. He has won numerous trophies and UCT Ikeys were voted SA Rugby Team of the Year, when he coached them.

Morgan Newman is a Springbok Legend who also represented the Stormers and Western Province Rugby.  Morgan was born in Cape Town where he attended and played for Bishops High School before being drafted into professional rugby.  He transitioned into coaching for South Africa's oldest rugby club, Hamilton RFC.  In addition to coaching, Morgan travels and plays with the Springbok legends and spends his free time as a Sports Radio presenter and Rugby commentator in South Africa.
